Personal data protection policy
Introduction
qiub ensures that the collection and processing of personal data comply with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978. The individuals concerned include candidates, prospects, clients, employees, suppliers and partners.
This policy informs the individuals concerned of the processing carried out by qiub on their data, of their rights and of the security measures in place. It may be supplemented or amended following internal or regulatory changes.
Applicable principles
- Minimisation: the data collected is strictly necessary for the purpose pursued, accurate and up to date.
- Lawfulness and transparency: individuals are informed, at the time of collection, of how their data is used, through this policy.
- Limited retention: data is not kept beyond the period necessary for the purposes of collection, subject to legal and security obligations.
Data collected
qiub may collect data directly from the individual concerned, or indirectly (public data from professional social networks, information provided by former employers or other professional contacts). Categories: identification data (first and last name), contact data (email address, phone) and professional data (CV, application message). qiub does not collect sensitive personal data as part of its business processes.
Purposes and legal bases
- management of applications and recruitment: identifying and selecting candidates, assessing their professional skills and abilities;
- processing of requests sent through the contact form;
- management of relations with clients, partners, suppliers and subcontractors (communication about services, accounting and tax management).
Each processing activity relies on one of the following legal bases: the individual’s consent, performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures taken at their request, compliance with a legal obligation, or qiub’s legitimate interest.
