qiub is a strategy consulting firm specialised in information systems. It helps its clients build a strategy in line with their business challenges and run the transformation programmes that follow.
We are a young, ambitious company whose project places a high standard of delivery towards clients at its core, while keeping the work-life balance and well-being of our consultants first.
qiub is recruiting Managers (5 to 8 years of experience), mainly graduates of engineering schools, business schools or university programmes, to strengthen its teams, with solid experience gained in consulting.
qiub Managers join teams that deliver high-level consulting services for clients. Within these teams they are accountable for engagements, in particular for guaranteeing the quality of delivery and for training the consultants working with them. No consultant is ever sent alone on an engagement at a client; we always work as a team with at least one senior (Senior Consultant / Manager / Senior Manager) and one junior.
A Manager’s main responsibilities are:
- running engagements end to end, with near-total autonomy, on any information systems and cybersecurity topic;
- representing qiub and its quality know-how to prospects and clients;
- developing the consultants they supervise, through their engagements or internal training;
- generating business leads in existing accounts or new client accounts.
The Manager will have the opportunity to work on high-level framing engagements for CIOs, CTOs and CISOs (approach to rolling out a new regulation on the information system, drawing up an IT or cybersecurity master plan, etc.) or on engagements implementing those frameworks by steering transformation programmes and projects.
The Manager may also take part in qiub’s internal development, and so in the entrepreneurial project our young consulting firm represents!
Desired profile
We are looking for people who are curious about information systems, with strong synthesis skills, who will engage intellectually, both collaboratively and individually, to absorb as much as possible of the knowledge passed on during engagements and so contribute to finding the best approaches for our clients.
We are looking for Managers who are open to information systems and whose core skill is solving their clients’ problems pragmatically, sharing with the firm’s other consultants everything they have learned over the course of their engagements.
We are open to diverse profiles from different backgrounds. The list of skills below is indicative:
- IT fundamentals (systems, networks, programming…);
- cybersecurity (risk management, cryptography, IAM…);
- project management;
- information systems management.
In addition, candidates must have experience in:
- steering consulting engagements;
- managing consultants.
Interview process
Recruitment takes 3 steps:
- A short call (about 10-15 min) to introduce qiub and make sure the firm meets your expectations.
- A video call (30 to 45 min) to discuss your profile in more detail and work through one or two quick case studies.
- An in-person interview (1.5 h) at qiub’s office near Opéra, to work on more complex case studies in a mode close to the one in which we expect to operate on engagements.
